Do I Need Renters Insurance?
When you move into a home, you’re not just renting a space; you’re creating a place for your life. That’s why renters insurance is an important part. It helps protect your personal belongings and can provide peace of mind in the event of an unexpected event. We strongly suggest renters’ insurance for all of our residents.
At Pros PM we’ve made the process simple through LeaseGuard.
You have two options:
Bring your own renters’ insurance policy that meets our guidelines and upload it to your account. This is a great way to protect your personal belongings while also meeting your lease requirements.
Use the LeaseGuard liability waiver program for $20/month. This option provides $100,000 in coverage for the property itself, but it does not cover your personal belongings. It is NOT renters’ insurance and doesn’t protect your belongings.
If you don’t upload your own policy, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the LeaseGuard option so you stay compliant with your lease.
